We have learnt two new sounds this week, our second sound is another bouncy sound!

We say ” i, i, i”

When we write our sound ‘i’ we start at the top and go down the body. We then take our pencils off the paper and do a dot for the head. Please remind your child to do a dot and not a big circle 😊

Today Zak and Jasmine found an i-i-i-insect outside! Just like the one in our picture card! 🐜

πŸ‘’ The weather is getting even warmer, please make sure your child comes to school with sun cream on and a sun hat or they will need to stay indoors. πŸ‘’

We have had a lovely morning picnic in the sunshine. It was a very special picnic because we were celebrating someones birthday! πŸŽ‚

Happy 4th Birthday Sebastian, the children wanted to say thank you to his mummy for the lovely cake! We really enjoyed our milk and fruit too 😊

This weeks new sound is a bouncy sound “t, t, t”

Starting at the left hand side holding your pencil in the perfect pencil grip. Start your line at the top and go down the tower, take your pencil off the paper and starting at the left go across the tower. Can you have a go?

If your child practices at home please take a photo for their online learning journeys or let them bring in their work to show at circle time  πŸ˜Š

F1 have learnt lots of new sounds! This week we have learnt our letter sound ‘d’ it is a bouncy sound “d, d, d!”

To write this letter we hold are pen properly in a traingulation grip and start in the top left hand corner of our paper. We move our hand to the left and say “round his bottom, up his tall neck, down to his feet.”

The children have been trying very hard to write all their new letter sounds, have a look at their fabulous work! Well done F1
